He was born on Java, Indonesia, on December 4th 1933. Richard came to his homeland Holland in 1946 en went to the United States in 1957 to study architecture en interior design. Richard became an excellent architect and graphic designer who successfully integrated his ideas about life in his work. Being modest, he never longed to be rich and famous.
